We’re Curtis + Kelly

Introducing the local duo behind CKH Construction, Curtis and Kelly Hogg. A vital part of the Wānaka community, Curtis and Kelly have been building homes in the Upper Clutha since 2017: Curtis with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Kelly with a background in finance and customer service.

Curtis started his career in South Canterbury, slinging tools on everything from new builds to rotary milking sheds. Melbourne and Perth soon followed, where he worked as a foreman on major demolition projects all throughout Western Australia, including the BHP Billiton Iron Ore Port, the Perth Airport, and Kalgoorlie Prison. Building with some of the biggest construction companies in Australia, Curtis was continually recognised for his consistency in completing projects safely and efficiently.

But soon, it came time to raise a family, and Curtis and Kelly headed home to New Zealand. After landing back in Lake Hāwea, CKH Construction was born. Led by Curtis and Kelly and quickly attracting a tight-knit team of expert builders, they’ve been crafting quality homes across the region ever since.
