Lake Hāwea

New build + renovation

This was our second project with these clients: the first, a full gut and renovation of a smaller home on the same property. This time round, we bought a new build to life that was designed to optimise shade in the summer, without compromising on winter sun in the cooler months. Solar panels were fitted to specific areas to optimise sun throughout the day, and a heavy-grind polished concrete floor was laid with underfloor heating throughout. We used Coloursteel and Vertical Abodo Vulcan cladding for this project.
